Receptionist / Legal Assistant
Attorney Madeline Pichardo Riestra brings a rare and powerful combination to her practice: the analytical insight of a trained psychologist and the courtroom experience of a former Assistant State Attorney. This unique background allows her to understand her clients on a deeper level while advocating for them with precision and force.
Before founding Pichardo-Riestra Law, Attorney Madeline worked as a psychologist specialist for the Florida Department of Corrections, gaining firsthand insight into the criminal justice system. She then earned her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law, concentrating on criminal defense and interning with the Public Defender's Office.
As a former Assistant State Attorney for the Fifth Circuit, she prosecuted cases ranging from traffic violations to felonies — giving her insider knowledge most defense lawyers lack.
